Recognized for her versatility, Myra Borja is a signature cross between raw and mystery. Born in Manila mixed with Portuguese and Mayan. Studied in Private Catholic specializing in Performing Arts and grew up in a military household. She settled with her family in Washington State and moved from one city to another pursuing her love for the arts.
Myra is a dedicated actor who did a crossover from dance. She studied in New York under Terry Schreiber- A master teacher from the Strasberg and Meisner's point of view interpreted by Michael Howard. Among Myra's work is a feature film, "The Real," A short movie helping to convey awareness about social workers, substance abuse, and domestic violence. The project premiered in New York at Tribeca Film Festival. She was part of a regional theater tour produced by The Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano to educate children in wealthy neighborhoods about hunger in America. Among the highlights of her career is embracing a debut lead role in a musical, "Light of Life'" by the respected playwright Margaret E Klim in San Francisco Community Music Center Concert Hall. In addition, Myra co-produced and played double characters in a comic-based film, "Deadly Class," featured at the Comic-Con and ongoing national festivals. In 2019, Myra took on a leading role, collaborating with actors and writers produced by RAW theater production at Santa Monica Playhouse in Los Angeles. "La Reponse Est Le Malheur De La Question" was featured at the Binge Free Festival (BFF). The show was well-received, and the collaborative was invited to play it regularly for four weeks. Also, Myra is noted on IMDB for her signature role in a romantic comedy, "Friend Request," directed by Jim Skinner. Myra is living in Los Angeles ongoing with advanced training and pursuing commercial and film projects. She is signed with Stander Talent Group. |
